Check Indexed Yields blocked IP's
Am running a check on a list of urls to see which are indexed in Google. Using a handful of free proxies that have worked for weeks and I replaced them with others that I verified are working but I'm still getting blocked by Google. Happened last night at home (from laptop) and is happening again today at the office (same laptop).
I'm assuming that SB does indeed use the proxies for the Check Indexed function, yes? Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?? |

RE: Check Indexed Yields blocked IP's
When you do a proxy check make sure you don't have the "ignore google" box checked. It needs to check against Google to see if the proxies aren't blocked from G. If the proxy harvester says your proxies aren't banned and they are still not working, I'm not sure what the problem. Maybe you can try some private proxies. It seems like 90% of Scrapebox errors are due to the built in shared proxies.

RE: Check Indexed Yields blocked IP's
Just bought 10 proxies from ProxyBonanza.com and they're working like a champ in another program. I popped 'em in SB, went to test 'em (just cause) and they ALL FAILED. Numerous times. Anybody have any thoughts on that? Here's the format I loaded 'em up in:
6*.2**.**7.**8:60099 UPDATE: Turns out SB doesn't like/want those port numbers on the end. I removed them and everything worked as it should. |

Wow really? Usually the port number is required .. Thanks for coming back and letting us know what the problem was.

RE: Check Indexed Yields blocked IP's
I'm still having trouble using the Check Indexed feature with Google. All of my purchased ip's are working according to the SB test.
I ran a single Check Index and everything worked fine. 5 minutes later I attempted to do it again with another url list and it's giving me the blocked ip message. I tried a Check Index against Yahoo and it worked perfectly. Running a Check Index against Google seems to be a hit and miss, even using validated, purchased proxies. What am I missing and how do I/we fix it? UPDATE: I re-loaded the ip's into SB and included the port# this time. Tried the Check Indexed on Google and it worked like a champ this time. Weird stuff.. |

RE: Check Indexed Yields blocked IP's
I"m not using any proxies, and its just SUPER DUPER SLOW to check indexed. For me to check 500 links takes literally DAYS. proxies are even SLOWER. any ideas on how I can check indexed more rapidly? thx

You can't check 500 links w/o proxies unless you have a high delay, otherwise you'll be blocked real quick. Grab some solid proxies and experiment with how many links you can check at a time. I have 10 paid proxies and I know I can have zero delay if I have it set on 1 thread to index checking and just let it run w/o getting blocked...usually. Good starting point is 20% |

RE: Check Indexed Yields blocked IP's
thanks for your help. I appreciate it very much.
what do you mean "good starting point is 20%"? also, can you recommend the best place to get some "solid proxies"? I'm starting to think proxies are a better route than a vpn. (and cheaper maybe) |
