Having a heck of a time with operators
Hey folks,

Just started using SB a few weeks ago and love it! I'm having a heck of a time with operators though. If I do something like:

inurl:new-years "Powered by Wordpress"

and add keywords like:

weight loss
lose weight

I get no results. Take out the operator and get tons. Run the same query through google and get 10's of thousands of results.

I thought maybe it was the - in new years so tried just "new" and then "year" and no joy. Tried intitle and every permutation I could think of. The radio button is set to custom footprint. I have no idea what's going on.

Any help out there?

RE: Having a heck of a time with operators
well it seems im not the only one.. i just boughht scrapebox a few days ago and its pretty much useless for what I was hoping it could do... and these forums seem dead.. which makes me wonder if the software is dead also.. maybe I was just too late in buying SB? I cant even get it to scrape backlinks link:http://anysite.com
I wonder if its changes to google, yahoo, or if SB is just finished?
is there anyone out there that is still able to scrape successfully?

Shane7y -- it turns out it's proxies. Try to use inurl quickyl with no proxies. Seems G knows it's a proxied connection and doesn't return anything. I tried with private proxies and it worked the first time, then no more. I'm interested in a workaround to exposing my IP.
