keyword in the middle of the footprint? - J_Data - 10-20-2010

Hi, is there a placeholder method for creating footprints so that scrapebox can place the keyword in the middle instead of just putting it on the end. for example if I were to create the footprint:

Site:.edu "powered by wordpress" "{keyword_here}" -"comments are closed"

thanks in advance,
-Jason

Yes. All you need to do is use the merge feature (the M next to the footprint box). You open up notepad and type this: Site:.edu "powered by wordpress" "%KW%" -"comments are closed". Then you save that file. Load your list of keywords into the keyword box then click the "M" on the left side of the footprint box. Just open up the notepad file you saved and it will merge the keywords and footprint together.

So the placeholder you're looking for is %KW%

Hope that helps.

Why would you want to go to a forum where "comments are closed"

You have it backwards. You see the - in front of the "comments are closed"? This makes sure that the blog doesn't say that. =)

Thanks, I missed that

Thanks much for the replay, I'm sure there is a help file somewhere with that info, but I missed it. That is infinitely useful.

No problem guys! There are so many features Scrapebox has, it's hard to keep up with everything.
