Scrapebox Dofollow Checker Freeze - jackcrow - 10-30-2017

When the Dofollow checker is completed or stopped after checking a large amount of links ( 10,000 plus ) The amount of threads goes down between 1-5 and stays there. Scrapebox won't allow me to download the list as long as these threads are still open.

I've waited 6 hours + so I know it's not a matter of letting the websites finish loading.

I'm sometimes able to turn my wifi off and that closes these threads. However, is this a common issue? Is there a setting I can change to keep this from happening?

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like.

It means threads are locked. This can be caused by security software such as anti-virus, malware checkers and firewalls or it can be caused by pretty much any 3rd party program. Things such as skype, utorrent, pc optimization software etc...

So you can whitelist scrapebox and the dofollow test addon in all security software and then try closing down any unneeded programs. Then you can turn programs back on 1 by 1 till you find the culprit.

its not "common" but its not exactly uncommon. For any program using a lot of threads, this can happen, if you go to utorrent forums you will see people talking of the same thing. etc...

There is no setting to auto kill threads for the dofollow test addon and I do not see an auto save file. So dealing with the offending program is the only real way to do it. Also you can whitelist in your router, as it can be that.

On occasion Ive even seen windows lock a thread, just by way of error, but usually its 3rd party software/hardware interfering.
