You really need a good understanding of SEO and link building if you want to achieve good results with Scrapebox. Scrapebox can be pretty overwhelming to SEO newbies so I'd advise doing as much research as you can on on-page and off-page SEO before diving into Scrapebox

RE: Total Noob - geopal - 04-27-2011

I am newbie too on advanced seo techniques but have been trying to increase my eshop's page rank and popularity with the "theoretical" methods, untill i found out about ScrapeBox.
I assume, that bad use of ScrapeBox can work as boomerank and even have negative effects to a website, right?
My main concern is not to have my domain blacklisted or reported as spam if i mass comment on blogs. Isn't that worrying you?

Except the above, since my website is 100% in Greek language, can anyone tell me whether ScrapBox supports greek characters and greek websites or just Latin characters?

Thanks in advace Wink

Hmm I'm not sure if Scrapebox supports greek language or characters, you might want to ask support. Email support @ [email protected]

For your first question, yes Scrapebox can hurt you in the long run if you aren't careful. Blog commenting should only be a part of your overall SEO campaign. You should also look into forum profile link building, social bookmarking, rss feed submission, article marketing, forum marketing and other SEO tactics you can use to increase your SERPs.

Thanks for your reply. I am a newbie so i will start slowly with all those techniques and of course i will be trying to use all including all those you mentioned + fixing the site urls and keywords.

However, I assume that google has a system to scan spammers and mass comment posters and never increaeses those domain's PR, right?

Is there some way to be 100% sure that my domain will be safe?

RE: Total Noob - s4nt0s - 04-28-2011

You can be safe by building quality links to your website. Instead of just blasting comments on any unrelevant domain, try and find blogs that are relevant to your niche and comment there.

If you're really worried you can always use buffer sites to protect your main site. You can read more about it here: http://www.scrapeboxhelp.com/scrapebox-how-to-keep-your-website-out-of-google-sandbox-penalty
