Anchor text question - Larry L - 05-02-2011

My site consists of about 30 pages (not counting photos) do I have to have anchor text on all of those pages and when someone clicks on that anchor text what page of the 30 will open? I am assuming from what I have read that this would be correct your anchor text here and where should this text be put on the back end of my site? I bought scrapebox and plan to buy some other tools but I am taking the advice of the experts on BHW to first learn I am a noob and would appreciate any helpful info.

You don't put the anchor text on your website. You leave the anchor text on the blogs/forums/websites you're trying to get links from.

For example, if your domain name is http://www.eggs.com and you were trying to rank your website for the keyword "eggs" in Google. You would leave your links on blogs/forums/websites like this: eggs

Whichever page of your website you use in the anchor text is whatever page will open up when they click the link.

It seems like you have a lot to learn about the basics of on page and off page SEO. Everyone has to start somewhere right? =)

If you find some forums relvant to your niche or product and you need to be able to post a signature, normally such as a href=" whatever . com" in < > then Keyword /a in < > without gaps and it will leave a backlink with your keyword.
