Scrape Company URL from Company Name? - Markz - 07-16-2015
Hi,
Can anybody advise the best way to scrape company URL`s from a list of company names?
We have a few hundred company names and are looking to retrieve the URL of each of these without doing it manually.
Any guidance highly appreciated.

If these company names are specific enough and popular enough to come up as the number 1 result for their name, then just set the harvester to 1 result and load all the names as keywords and scrape.
You may also find it helpful to go to settings >> connections timeouts and other settings >> more harvester settings >> save additionally keywords with urls. I talk about that in this video

Thanks loopline I was hoping for a reply. Its the 1 result I`ve been trying to work out but from research 10 results is the minimum how do you get the 1 result?

I found the solution by using V2. seems to work well. One thing I could not see on V2 is how to adjust RND delay range is that not an option anymore?

You have to use the detailed harvester for a delay, but its not random its fixed. But yes V2 lets you use just 1 result.
