usually it means the query never left your machine. So does it do this with and without proxies?
Make sure you whitelist the addon in all security software like anti-virus, malware checkers and firewalls. Taking care to whitelist and not just disable. Disabling allows existing rules to still fire, but not new rules to form.
Or you can uninstall your security software as a test.
Also you can try closing down any unneeded programs.
