try checking "custom footprint" instead

You definitely need to check "custom footprint" and you also need to add some keywords to the footprint to return more results.

Either your custom footprints are way too long or your internet connection/firewall needs tweaking.
Try with some simple footprints to see if thats the problem.

This is the same issue I'm having! I just posted about this. Did you ever figure out what the issue was?

Well, not really.
Long string footprints often failed. Solved this by making the footprint myself and only using 1 keyword at a time.
