Nub Needs Guidance - sunshyne - 07-18-2010

Greetings Newhere

I have watched the tut videos and have made a few runs but I need to clean up my technique. I am missing some steps I am sure because my % is very low on success. Here is what I am doing:

I have 10 private proxies from a service I purchased so that part is covered

- I only have 19 KW's for this specific project
- for Results I enter 5k
- I hit start harvesting and get 10k links loaded, I then load them using the "Transfer URLS to Commenter" function
- I have a comment loaded, the url file and hit Start.

it runs through all 10k in a few minutes and at the end it shows 31 as success. Is this a normal number for 10k? I know I def need help with comments but it seems really low.

Whats the best practice in terms of getting a higher harvest count? Any insight is appreciated

Google can only return 1,000 results, so if you put in 5,000 it will just get knocked back down to 1,000

As for 31 success, no that's not normal, using quality private proxies I think you should be getting at least a 50% success ratio.
Are you sure the proxies are not being used by others and are exclusively yours? Maybe they've been over-used by scrapebox users to the point they are mostly all blocked. Try using the free proxy scraper, test them over and over until you filter out all the bad ones, then run it again. If you're getting a better success rate then it's your proxies that are the problem.

If that doesn't fix the problem, then it's possible it's just being buggy. Wait until the next update and see if it's fixed. There's been days where fast poster sucks for me and days where it works great.
