To everyone with harvester problems! - goog - 08-19-2011 Hello all, So i have not used scrapebox in about 2 months. I came back today to scrape yahoo, but looks like yahoo has updated there system and you can no longer scrape like crazy with out using a proxy! So i have found the next best thing! Bing api I have managed to harvest over 1,000,000 links in about 5 minutes. Of course i though oh this is going to be a bad list but i got over 60% success rate! (i dont know about acceptance yet!) But hey bing is the next best scrape system out there Oh and you dont even need to use proxys so thats even better Hope you all find this usefull RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - s4nt0s - 08-20-2011 Hmm you don't have to use proxies to scrape from Bing? I did notice earlier when I was scraping from Bing that I was getting A LOT more results then Google and Yahoo. I actually had to stop it because I got around 1,600,000 and was ready to turn it off for the night. I'll give Bing a nice scrape tomorrow without proxies to see how it turns out. Thanks for sharing. RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - goog - 08-20-2011 Sounds cool! Fancy sharing your keyword list? RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - parsibagan - 08-20-2011 I'll be awaiting Santos results and confirmation whether we can scrape Bing without proxies. RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - goog - 08-20-2011 I have been scraping bing for the last 36 hours with out proxys! Its fine! If your api gets baned you just make a new one! RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - parsibagan - 08-21-2011 Thanks a lot for the info. I'll try out scraping using bing only. The only problem I had is that I have a very slow connection and on top of that I use public proxies. However, if your method works fine with Bing, I need not use proxies again. RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - goog - 08-21-2011 Oh, that's a shame. I have got 100mb up and down! Ah, if you could see the green color on my envious face. My connection is 1/200th of yours. RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - goog - 08-22-2011 Haha, it's called a dedicated server just for Link building! $109 a month. Expensive I know, but that what you need to link build using these tools. I have xrumer on the go as well. You can get some that are like $49 a month which would be perfect at just running scrapebox! iWeb.com check out the clearance section. I have used them for 5 months now, they don't allow this software. But they have never court me RE: To everyone with harvester problems! - Mr.Zedman - 08-26-2011 Hi everybody, I have the same problem when I try to harvest Links from Yahoo. Almost no success anymore. Is there any solution (by Scrapebox) on the way? Because my guess is, Bing dont like it either when we harvest links from them. That Bing still works is only a question of Time! I think it is much better to find a solution with (from) Scrapebox. |
