Advice needed about proxies - djbridger - 09-06-2011 I have only just started using scrapebox so somebody with experience could help. If i was to run scrapebox using an isp that gives out a dynamic ip address, eg everytime the router is rebooted the IP address changes is this as good as getting proxy ip's. I dont know the size of runs folks are making, the biggest list i have got my teeth into is 6000, i would trim this into say 12 runs of 500, so would you suggest 12 x 500 x 12 ip's or 6000 list = 1 ip address. So Far i have used 2 static ip's for my 2 scrapebox runs. On my server where i have installed scrapebox i have 5 available to me. So i have a choice build my own proxy server on a dynamic ip isp service provider Carry on using the 5 public ip's assigned to my server and rotate once a week or buy a private proxy ip service bare in mind i only intent to do a run once every week or two. Im still undecided about the value of leaving real names when the name can be the keyword anchor text. |
