Suggestions for a Newb on private proxies - lazybones - 02-24-2012
Hey there, just downloaded and starting working with Scrapebox yesterday (already love it!), but I have a few questions about private proxy servers.
- What is the right plan for me?
I'm new at this, but I can already see that a lot of time can be spent looking for free proxies. I'm not a power user yet, so I expect my volume for harvesting will be relatively low (a couple sites to manage / only a little auto-commenting) the first month.
So, is 10 IPs enough? How many IPs are normal for someone starting out?
- Any providers that I should avoid?
There seem to be quite a few proxy providers, are there any I should avoid like the plague?
- Are there any gotchas with private proxy servers I should know about?
Again, I'm new to this, so any advice (or just links to where this question may have already been answered), would be appreciated.
- Anyone have a particular favorite provider?
I'm all up for suggestions
