Proxy timeout error - relhuk - 03-10-2012
Hi All,
I was using SB today with no problems, then sometime after updating to
V1.15.41 I noticed a drop in successful posts.I attempted to harvest proxies with SB harvester and every single one INSTANTLY received 'error timeout' message.I vaguely remember the SB update being about harvesting proxies and Google???
I tried again by sourcing some more public proxies from several different places INCLUDING proxy goblin.When saving from proxy goblin (which told me they all good proxies) into SB- Scrapebox crashed and the crashdump logged it but the SB hung within the task manager and would not shut down completely. I had to reboot pooter.
I do not know if this is related but after around 15-20k proxies ALL ARE FAILING. This is surely impossible??
I have altered the timeout settings and search strings but it makes no difference.
Yes I could buy some private proxies but I want to confirm the SB server is not doing something odd etc.I have contacted support but am still waiting so I thought I'd ask anyone else if they are having similar issues?
It obviously will not perform any other functions now without proxies.

I'm having the same problem and I'm using private proxies!
Before the update my proxies were ok after update they all fail

This is a few months old but I'm having the same issue. I'm using private proxies to try and harvest some public proxies. Harvesting works fine. But when I test those proxies, I get good results in the beginning and then every proxy after that fails with "Error Timeout".
Update: If I exit Scrapebox and start over, it works again for a bit and then will produce the "Error Timeout" message. Additionally, other functions don't work either until I restart Scrapebox. For example, the update checker fails.

You are facing this problem because you are using public proxies. Use private proxies and it will definitely solve your problem.
