Using allintitle: and allinurl: footprints - nerevar - 11-25-2010

Hi,

I just bought Sbox and am testing all the options. I loaded these footprints into SB:

Quote:allintitle:
allinurl:

Are these correctly written?

For example, if I want to search for blogs having in title cars, autos or automotive I enter:

Quote:[custom footprint:]allintitle:
[keywords:]
cars
autos
automotive

But I get no results - what am I doing wrong?

Can I ask why you're using allintitle instead of just intitle or inurl? intitle and inurl should work just fine for what you're trying to do.

Eh, it was a bad example. My real keywords are 2-word keyword phrases - that's what I was searching for.

But either way it shouldn't have made a difference.

Anyway - is the footprint correct? Because I don't have an idea why it doesn't show any results.

As long as you have custom footprint selected it should work fine.

I have WordPress selected. So I can't have WP and the above custom footprint? So actually I need to combine my own queries if I want for example edu WP sites?

Thanks

OK, I've been reading some more but still have problems.

Example: I want to find a WordPress .edu site which has in it's title keyword phrase I should add to my custom footprint:

Quote:site:.edu "powered by WordPress" intitle:

And add to my keywords list:

Quote:"weight loss"

I would think this would scrape this query:

Google: site:.edu "powered by WordPress" intitle:"weight loss"

But it doesn't. Not even 1 page is harvested.

I'm kind of lost right now so a little help would be really appreciated.

I typed it in scrapebox just like this: intitle:"weight loss" site:.edu "powered by wordpress"

It came up with 243 results. That really isn't much because there aren't too many .edu sites with weight loss in the title tags. If you want more results you will need more keywords.

So check custom footprint and try the one above and let me know how it goes.

I got private proxies finally. The speed is great.

But the search for intitle:"weight loss" site:.edu "powered by wordpress" still came only to 37 results (and only 21 uniques).

I use intitle. It's fine. Try it and you! =)
