YourPrivateProxies Not Working?!?! - Abel1337 - 11-30-2010
I just got your private proxies... I got the 20 pack a month. Ive never used proxies before, but the list that I get from here, I paste into scrapebox and test them and they all fail. Did I waste 56 bucks on these proxies? I have heard a lot of good reviews on them so this doesn't make sense which is why I think maybe I am doing something wrong... So I came to these forums in hopes that someone might know what I can do to fix this problem.. Thanks a lot guys!

just email the support, they are very helpfull. mine worked, i got 10 proxies today.

I did email them but I dont think its the proxies.. Its probably the way I'm doing it.. Does anyone know how to set up a private proxy list in scrapebox? Thanks

If you're using private proxies that require a login and password, they should be in the following format.
IP
ORT:USERNAMEASSWORDSo it might like this: 161.181.1.1:21:USERNAME
ASSWORDThat's how you load them in Scrapebox. You can save them all in a .txt file with one proxy per line and load it that way or you can just copy and paste the proxies into the proxy window.
If they require IP authentication there should be an option in your control panel that will allow you to input your IP address so they won't require a user and pass. It authenticates them by your IP address.
Give the method above a try and let me know if that works.
