What's Wrong with this Custom Footprint? - joeleighton - 01-03-2011 Scraping for SMF forum profiles. This footprint (when combined with keywords) harvests plenty of URLs: inurl:action=profile,u This footprint harvests zero URLs: inurl:action=profile,u + intext:"additional information" Every SMF forum profile includes the words "additional information". Why would adding it to the footprint cause the harvester to come up empty? Thanks, Joe RE: What's Wrong with this Custom Footprint? - s4nt0s - 01-04-2011 Have you tried doing it without intext: in front of it? Maybe just try inurl:action=profile,u + "additional information" Let me know if that works RE: What's Wrong with this Custom Footprint? - joeleighton - 01-04-2011 My original footprint works (i.e. inurl:action=profile,u + intext:"additional information") when I load 300 or so usernames into the keyword box. Cheers, Joe RE: What's Wrong with this Custom Footprint? - seogawd - 01-06-2011 I'd just do them separately, harvest, analyze, filter, save to file, then import adding each file and remove duplicates, analyze again, filter RE: What's Wrong with this Custom Footprint? - HotMLMProspects - 01-27-2011 Try this for highly targeted forums inurl:forum/index.php?action=profile;u= + intitle:keyword RE: What's Wrong with this Custom Footprint? - globalads - 02-01-2011 Go for quantity. Use this: inurl:action=profile,u + "additional information" + (this is your keyword from your merged keyword list) Ex. inurl:action=profile,u + "additional information" + dog |
