So I bought a bunch of proxies.. - DigitalMu - 07-23-2019

So I bought 100 proxies from Extraproxies.com and I put them in the Manager to test...

Does this make them useless for Google?  I assume so...think maybe I wasted my money...

302 means they are blocked by google.

But if they are actually private proxies and you wait 48 hours with no queries to google then they will likley be unblocked. If they are not unblocked in 48 hours then ask your provider for different proxies.

What happens sometimes is that the user that had them right before you got them all blocked and then they were handed to you already blocked and they just need a breather to be unblocked.

Thanks -- I wrote them and in two emails they had this to say...

Hello,
Please test with Bing or Yahoo.
Our proxies are not dedicated to specific websites or programs. We can
guarantee that our proxies are aliv and responding.
Thanks

and

Hello,

We don't test each proxy on google, we can only guarantee that proxies
are alive and working, but Google has very strict rules.

I'm beginning to think this company isn't going to be a good choice for me.  The prices were attractive so I wanted to test them.  Oh well Smile

thanks!

Well you can wait and see, but yes they may not be the best choice for you. Most proxy providers that I have used or that I know of users that use them, they replace proxies happily if they are google blocked.

But like I said, 48 hours will tell you if its a 1 off or an actual problem.

Also you might find these proxies useful if you want to test something else.
