Scrapebox Error: unable to download file update information - adam110 - 05-04-2020
Hello - I tried to open scrapebox today and it tries to open but then it shows an error that reads
unable to download file update information
I can only click ok - if i click it then it closes scrapebox - any idea how to get this working again?

I'm dealing with the same issue - first experienced it yesterday. Reached out to support regarding it, hopefully it gets resolved quickly.

I got this reply:
We updated the licensing servers and scrapebox can not connect.
So ideally you can simply download a fresh copy of the latest version of scrapebox from the direct link here
http://www.scrapebox.com/payment-received
Unzip it to a folder on your desktop or in your documents folder.
Else you try going to options >> select preferred download server – and choose the opposite of whatever is there and then restart scrapebox. Then please update to the latest version.
If you do not see a select preferred download server under options, then simply download a fresh copy from the above link.
Downloading a fresh copy of the latest version is what worked for me.

Yes you just need to download the latest version and your set.
