Scraping all videos of a youtube channel - univ - 10-10-2021
Hi,
I just started using scrapebox today.
I can't figure out how to extract a list of all videos related to a certain youtube channel.
Here's what I did:
Entered the youtube channel URL where all the videos are listed (https://www.youtube.com/c/TheAshleyZixuan/videos) into scrapebox link extractor addon.
The resulting list didn't include any videos only
https://www.youtube.com/ads/
https://www.youtube.com/new
https://www.youtube.com/creators/
https://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us/
https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
https://www.youtube.com/about/policies/
https://www.youtube.com/about/press/
https://www.youtube.com/
https://www.youtube.com/howyoutubeworks?utm_campaign=ytgen&utm_source=ythp&utm_medium=LeftNav&utm_content=txt&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fhowyoutubeworks%3Futm_source%3Dythp%26utm_medium%3DLeftNav%26utm_campaign%3Dytgen

Please help me figure out how to extract the list of videos by this channel.

There is no way to do this that I know of with scrapebox. If there are like 10 videos on the channel maybe, but its all the same domain, so its going to extract all videos that are linked both on the channel and not.

I would be able to deal with this but the problem is that scrapebox doesn't scrape any of the videos of the channel (see the list of links I mentioned in the OP).
Any ideas?

The challenge with youtube is that it heavily relies on javascript. so scrapebox can only see the data that is loaded when javascript is turned off. Meaning turn off javascript in your browser and load the youtube page, that is what scrapebox sees.
