how to increase harvester delay time - walkallone - 02-16-2022
Hello,
i have a problem. i use 5 proxies for google harvesting. it sometimes (quite often in fact) bans my proxies - in order to mitigate i increased delay between searches. currently i use max delay time- 60s - it helped a lot
but i would like to further increase this time, but, there seems to be a limit to this number set in the program.
how can i set an even larger value? say 300-400 sec..
i know more proxies would help, but, i rather pay with time than money on this one..

are you on mac or windows?
on windows the detailed harvester should let you go way up, past 60 anyway, up into the hundreds.
For mac, you could try and modify the engine file manually, like search scrapebox in finder (and choose this mac). Then go into the configuration folder and find the engine.dat file. Open it in a text editor and find the delay for the engine, set to what you want and then save the file. Of course do this with scrapebox changed down.
But don't go back into the engine section and click the delay box, because it will then reset to the max. I feel like mac allows for more then 60, but if they changed it thats how I would try it.
