Guest posting - Alek - 01-07-2014

Hi everyone,

I'm new on this forum, so this is my first post.

I'm using ScrapeBox through VPS.
I'm using private proxies and I'm trying to get "guest posting blogs".
My niche are electronics (mobile phones, laptops, tablets etc.).

So, I'm trying to harvest blogs related to this niche, where I can contact the owners and ask them to "guest post" on their blogs.

I tried combining keywords that ScrapeBox scrape. For example I use keyword "iphone" and scrape it. The ScrapeBox shows a list of keywords.
I'm combining these keywords with some footprints that I found on Google.

The results are not so good, because it harvest blogs that are not related to the niche I'm looking for.

So, my question is : Can anybody suggest me what footprints should I use or what keywords are best to combine in order the ScrapeBox to harvest the best results ?

I would be very grateful if someone can suggest me any option.

I can't tell you the footprints, but I can tell you how to build them.

Find 10 or 20 pages manually where you would contact them, then use those pages to build the footprint. I have a video on how to build footprints here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAf-h9FisGU

But I assume your looking for a contact form, so probably something like

"iphone" "contact us"

etc.. and then you can go into scrapebox and tick off the platforms you want, probably blogs. Also you can build in footprints for your own platforms.

Thanks for your reply.

This is not really helping me because I'm not looking for contact pages.
I'm looking for a guest post opportunities where I can contact the owners of the blogs and write a "guest post" on their blogs.

The example you told me to use the footprint "iphone" "contact us" is giving results that are not related to what I'm looking for.
I want to get the best results for blogs related with iphone, for example.

The example I gave you was just an EXAMPLE of concept. You are going to have to build your own footprints.

You need to find 10-20 pages of what you ARE looking for and then look at the urls, at the on page content, etc.. and build a footprint. The video I referenced goes more into depth, and it also links to another video I have on footprints. So between it all you should be able to figure it out.

However at this point if you would like for more help you have to provide more info. If I told you that "my car won't start" and you tried to give me an example of that I might need to jump the battery and I say well its not a battery as thats not the issue I just got a new battery. My car won't start.

Im not giving you enough info to help me, so if you can post back here with 10 pages that you ARE looking for, then I can look and say, well here are the common elements and here is an example.

Thanks for your reply again.

Here are few examples of what kind of blogs I need :

http://www.mobot.net/
http://blog.tinydeal.com/
http://mobileintelligence.blogspot.com/
http://www.91mobiles.com/blog/
http://www.mobileshop.eu/blog/
http://www.firstpost.com/tag/mobile-phones
http://www.mobileshop.com/blog/mobile-phone-blogs/
http://blogs.computerworld.com/tags/mobile_phones?page=1
http://mobilecrazies.com/
http://www.mnn.com/green-tech/gadgets-electronics
http://mobilesyrup.com/
http://www.mymobile.co.in/mobile-blog/

All these blogs are related to technology (mobile phones), so I need similar blogs to these.

Ok, but these are all blogs where you know for a fact you can submit guest posts? HOW do you submit the guest posts.

If you are only looking for pages that you can contact the owners on, and submit guest posts, then you have to have a method for contacting the owners, thats why I suggested pages that have contact forms etc...

The blogs you gave me as an example just seem like blogs.

If you want to narrow your search to blogs that allow you to contact the owner then you need to have a particular url that has some quantifiable info on it that allows you to contact the owner, thats what you want to make the footprint from.

Niche is irrelevant. You can tack on a niche keyword in 3 seconds, whats important is getting pages that allow you to contact the onwers and that its a blog that accepts guest posts, correct? That is what you want right, to be able to contact the owners about guest posts?

Don't think about niche, its Irrelevant. If you build a footprint thats like

"guest post" "contact" inurl:contact-us "powered by wordpress"

You can tack a technology word on the end and get tech related.

You could also add gardening, cars, the rain forest or Chirstmas on the end and get blogs related to those.

What I need is actual urls of pages that have info on them that specify that you can contact the owner and that specify that they accept guest posts. Or at least some method of contacting them.

On the urls you listed, how would you contact the owner and why do you know they accept guest posts?

RE: Guest posting - Alek - 01-11-2014

Yes, you are right about the guest postings.

Half of these blogs don't have a contact.
I picked random these blogs. So, what do you suggest?
If I use footprints only like :

inurl:guest-post-guidelines
inurl:guest-posts
inurl:write-for-us

ScrapeBox doesn't show many results. The blogs are related to what we need, but we need a list that is much wider than just blogs with that section.

RE: Guest posting - loopline - 01-13-2014

Those are closer to something valid. So you can use them definitely, but you would need more. Don't go for just that in url operator as many won't have that.

You can go for

"write for us"
"Guest post Guidelines
etc....

And then tack on your keyword

You can go for contact forms and just randomly contact web masters to see if they want to guest post etc...

Your headed down the right road, just expand your footprints until you get the base that you need.
