public proxies - jrcollins - 05-22-2014
Anyone here using public proxies to scrape with? I've tried many different sources and software but just can't get enough working proxies. Even with a big list of supposedly working proxies, when I try scraping with them they're already blocked.

I only use private to scrape with, it works so much better that I don't fool around with public proxies, they are a waste of time IMHO.

Use private proxies only with scrap box. I also do the same.
