Country TLD + Platform + Keywords Footprint - makapangyarihan - 06-05-2015

How do I find websites/blogs with the following parameters.

specific tld (example: .gov or .eu)
uses wordpress
relevant to my target keywords

The quickest way is to put

site:.gov

or site:.eu

in the footprints box, put your keywords in the keywords box, choose the platforms option and then select wordpress.

Then harvest.

Thanks so much Loopline! Your willingness to help the Scrapebox users community is awesome

Sadly, Scrapebox seem to ignore the site:.tld directive as it pulled all sorts of domain tlds. :-(

Scrapebox will give you whatever the engines give it. It works for me.

What exact query did you use as an example?

I tried several. Used only Google search engine. Here's an example.

site:.edu

keywords:

university
college
student

platform:

wordpress

Result: (Top sites after removing duplicate domains)

Interesting to note that I used the beta 2.0.0.41 version here and it failed. I tried the same settings on my older SB version 1.16.4 and it worked perfectly. Only .edu wordpress sites were pulled by SB

Interesting, you are correct. If you choose platforms in V2 then the footprint box is ignored. I assume thats not supposed to be the case, but Ill confirm with support.

If you use your footprint in the keywords box with the platform it works fine. like:

university site:.edu
college site:.edu
student site:.edu

Yup! It works on SB 2.0 but only for Google. Yahoo an Bing never supported it I think.
