Question about Link plugin - andrewmp - 09-28-2016
1. For Link Extractor plugin is using Scrapebox proxies, my own proxies or my real ip? (i do not see/understand which proxies is using). Number of connections is 20 and i want to increase it.
2. Is possible to check the header status 200, "no such host", 404 .. for a list with sites, with Scrapebox? Now i do it with Xenu.

The alive checker addon checks the header status.
The proxies used with the link extractor addon and just about everything else in scrapebox, uses whatever proxies you have loaded in the proxies box in the left lower quadrant of the main Scrapebox window.
The scrapebox server proxies are only ever used for harvesting and only if you turn them on in the harvester. if you are working with diverse domains you don't need to use proxies with the link extractor, but if your using all the same domain then you would want to lest you get your ip blocked. Also randomizing the list, if you have a lot of urls, is ideal. You can do this in the link extractor.
