Low results coming back from google - sjedwardz - 05-15-2010
I'm getting quite a lot of queries where the first page of results might be 99 or 100 but then the next 4-9 will be in the low 20's or 30's.
What gives? I know SB filters out dodgy ones from the blacklist but surely there can't be that many!

I think those are good numbers if I understand them correctly. You can't bat 1000 all the time no matter what and a footprint is only a "Place to start." There's never a promise that Google will return exactly what you want even though hypothetically they should.
Just be glad it works. Botmaster (Xruemr dude) still hasn't fixed his harvester at all... imagine the boat you would be in with that (it's the one I'm in BTW). Seriously, with a couple dozen free proxies and the multi-threaded harvester, ScrapeBox collects urls plenty fast enough, don't you think?
A couple hundred k in under a half hour with a decent keyword list is pretty good for a place to start your spam man. You won't ever need it to be 100 all the time.

Let me explain a bit better!
Lets say my keyword is "keyword"
The results I get back are
google.com on page 1 100
google.com on page 2 38
google.com on page 3 38
google.com on page 4 38
google.com on page 5 38
google.com on page 6 38
google.com on page 7 38
It seems very strange that its only finiding 38 on the subsequent pages and that the number is always the same and low!.

Try updating to the latest SB version. I saw this in an old version but it was then fixed

I raised it with support and it was a bug. Due to google saying x thousand results but there only being 1 or 2 pages,
I believe its now fixed.
