keywords with or without quotes - Sburator - 11-16-2016

Hi,

I am about to launch a broken links link building campaign, so I am going to use combinations like this - inurl:link + keywords.

My question is, what is the best formula in order to get a list with the most relevant. Something like this

"relevant keywords" inurl:links
VS.
relevant keywords inurl:links

In the past, I used the last variant, without quotes, but I ended up with a huge list full of many not so relevant websites, but if I insert the keyword within quotes, I am afraid I will miss some relevant websites.

What should I do? I am trying to minimise as much as I can the manual sorting, but to get all the relevant websites.

Thank you

I just replied you on another forum actually. There isn't a wrong answer here and you only gave generic info. So I would say try both and see what you get.

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me. Yes, I am going to test both methods.

Note, with Google Keyword tool changes from showing search volume to not showing search volume - a range of numbers now, the Google results are likely now grouped for certain keywords. Google was planning to group results previously so something to think about. + @loopline might be of interest.

If Google not grouping keywords, then doing both quotes and no quotes will likely give you more harvested sites. The quotes likely will give you a more targeted harvest of sites but may also end up being a spam flag.
