scrapebox closed (Latest Update) - adam110 - 11-25-2016
hi
I saw an update notification for scrapebox yesterday so i updated to the latest version 2.0.0.80
Before this update I could leave my scrapebox on and it would sometimes scrape for a full 2 whole days
Today I logged into the VPS and found scrapebox was not there..it had closed..
I checked the harvester folder (where it auto saves urls) and I can see about 58k urls inside of it so it looks like it crashed within the first few hours.
Not sure what could have caused it

ok so I ran scrapebox again - same settings I have always used - this time it completed but with less then a 500k urls - this isnt usual for me and the way I have been working with scrapebox prior to the update.. Ive got a older copy also installed so Im going to use that as I feel there is something causing a issue with the harvester and the latest update

Sure, try the older copy.
Also note .81 is now out, although nether .80 or .81 had anything to do with the harvester.
Also if you go into your main scrapebox folder, there is a bugreport.txt file, that contains the crash data. You can send that to scrapeboxhelp (at] gmail [dot) com for more help.
Further if you go to help >> show error log - harvester you can look and see what the errors are.

ok using the old one my scrapebox also closed down - Its strange as everything has been runing fine

Yeah, they can sort you out. If something updated on your pc or a file has become corrupt or really all sorts of things could have happend.

Ok scrapebox closed on me again - this is the 3rd time in 4 nights I believe - I have sent both bug reports from the last ones to scrapebox --Is it usual that they didnt reply ?
