How To Scrape Big Blog List - topekole - 06-04-2010

I always use keywords to scrape for blogengine and wordpress blogs and i got little results. I have read some of the interesting posts here about scraping. Now i want to ask, do you use keywords when you want to scrape or you just search for the general blogs and post comment to them. I think posing to niche blogs is better, please advice me.

I would like to know the best way also. I usually use keywords and then I also delete duplicate domains which leaves me with not very many urls harvested.

You have just virtually answered that yourself......if you want to post comments to any website not rellevent to yours then google wont take this into account.......But if you are selling sports memoribilia it would do no good leaving a link in a nurses forum......the keyword needs to be relevent to your site for any affect.....

Also i see you have posted once ( and I have) But read alot and watched alot on youtube....so if you only harvest a few sites then you will only get a few......harvest get rid of the crap.....harvest the good.....get rid of the crap.......i read somewhere that its good 2 build up a strong proxy list about 1 -2 days depending on how long on pc

But there again i might not know what im talking about but from everything ive read and watched this seems like the best option

wrong. Ill post to nurse forums all day long if I can get backlinks. Your anchor text is what matters.

I would have to agree with Globalads on this one. I have studied backlink strategies from most of the major players. The myth that Google only values links from "related" sites is just that...a myth. Any link is a good link (unless it is on a site that Google "frowns" on - ie porn sites, etc). Some noteable experts even go so far as to say that backlinks are almost ALL that matters - more so than on site SEO, more than content, etc - so get all the links you can.

A good lesson to learn from this is don't believe everything you hear (or read) especially in forums. Find respected, trusted sources that base their statements on testing and results not on beliefs or "just because" someone else said so.

I totally agree, a link is just a link, no matter where it comes from.

SEs will NEVER outrank your page for getting links, OR anybody could use that to spam competitors with links from ill-famed sites much easier than rank themselves --- and this is not happening.

Indeed, SEs will look at the neighborhood YOU link to (outbound links) and there is a danger, but build happily as many backlinks as you can and you'll be safe.

Links coming from porn sites for instance, may (at the maximum 'damage' level) have absolutely no value at all, but never penalize you in any way.

Hi friends here i figure it out how to do it.
1. scrape through wonder wheel
2. put you keyword
3. Tick level five
4. collect keywords
5. Harvest them
after deleting duplicate results you will be over 100k results.
Give repo if you like it.
