Hi guys,
I’m very new to backlinking and scrapebox, so forgive me if these questions seem really obvious. Any help on any of these things would be hugely appreciated. Sorry again, and thanks.
- I’ve scraped a bunch of url’s, and have posted to them with a good success rate, but is there a way for me to actually go and look at my comment (and see it in the context of all the other posts on the blog I’ve commented on)? I’m thinking probably not, because I’ve used random emails and names, so I wouldn’t know the login details unless I provide a non random email and name (e.g. one of my own). Regarding the add-on backlink checker, the instructions at scrapebox.com/free-link-checker states to load a file with my domain and also another file with ‘your report’ – I assume it’s referring to successful harvest blog lists. The backlink checker interface I’m using doesn’t give me the option of loading my domain plus the blog lists. (My version of scrapebox is V1.15.12)
- I’ve gone through the whole process of harvesting and posting, although I’m concerned about the comments I’m using. How can I know that my comment will have any relevance to the rest of the thread to which they’ve been posted. Is the key here to be really targeted in your harvest, and kind of general in your comment so the comments don’t look like spam, or too out of left field.
- I’m having heaps of trouble getting a grasp of the footprints (allintitle: , intext: etc) – is there any place to learn about this that’s really done for a beginner? Here’s an example of my confusion – Wordpress and expressionengine are both blog platforms (or engines?), so is it correct when harvesting one of these to either select the Wordpress predefined option in Harvester, or to type ‘powered by expressionengine’ in footprints field of the Harvester, but not do both.
- When I hover over Wordpress in the Harvester, I’m asked to ensure I ‘select Wordpress on the commenter’ – I can’t see a Wordpress option on the Comment Poster, just ‘Fast Poster’, ‘Slow Poster’ etc.
Thanks heaps.
