I was referring to "sandbox" in terms of SEO. Google, PayPal, and a lot of providers have sandboxes for testing purposes, but not related to seo.
People confuse the "Google Dance", drops in rank, link value, etc. with sandbox. I guess its just a fun buzz word. Especially when you are just starting link building and your site is climbing in the serps, it's going to "dance" around. A lot of my keywords danced like crazy until I hit the top 5 and they "anchored". Just the way it is.

Yes - Google does have a sandbox. But it's where you can go play with your OS commerce API's - That's ALL.
