Firstly all scraped urls are always saved in real time, so even if you force close scrapebox you never lose them. They are in the harvester_sessions folder - which is inside your scrapebox folder. Each time you scrape it creates a new folder in there, just look at the date/time stamp windows gives the folders, the most recent is your most recent scrape.
If its freezing it could be because of a number of things, for some users, due to their setup, scrapebox will freeze if you use the multi threaded harvester in combination with bing. If thats the case, then you need to use the custom harvester and bing works fine - under settings. Also I have a video here:

If you are not using bing then it means that some 3rd party program on your pc has locked one of scrapeboxes threads, in which case it will stay waiting a response from that thread forever. So you need to find the offending program on your pc and shut it down or uninstall it. It could be security software, such as anti-virus, firewall etc.. so add allow rules for scrapebox.
It could also be programs like utorrent, skype or any program that accesses the internet, just shut them all down, test and turn them back on until you find the offending program.
