Sorry I'm not sure what you meant by that.
What he meant was when he's setting up the "Names" file and the "Website" file he is actually putting his keyword in the "Names" file. This is a solid way to make sure that even if the comment filed is not html happy that he will at least get a link. If you're doing auto approve list then I go that route. If you know that a human will be checking the comments then you might not want to do that.
One thing that that might help the guy who is having problems getting links to stick is how does your site look? I just had this idea myself and did a complete over haul of my site to make it seems less of a landing page and more a "help" page. I personally think that when someone read my comment and checked my site the admins thought it looked spammy. So I had an awesome comment and a crap site. After this website facelift I'm hoping for better results too.
But by no means is this a waste of time, you just need to test the waters to see what starts to work. Currently thanks to SB (only) I have my money site climbing up the ranks on page one of big G.
